Cuonzo Martin said after Wednesday's shootaround that the freshman will see action for the Tigers on Thursday afternoon. Porter has missed almost the entire season, sans a two-minute stint in the season-opener, having been hampered by a back injury that required surgery.

Porter's return will make Missouri a unsafe team in the NCAA Tournament. Coach Cuanzo Martin - which still has Missouri headed to the NCAA Tournament, even without its best player - said Porter will come off the bench.

In that game, Porter's versatility and playmaking was on display. It had to be completely up to him, to say, 'Coach, I'm completely ready to go.

Mizzou plays the victor of Wednesday's Georgia/Vanderbilt game in St. Louis. It was about how he felt...for me it was always Mike's decision to play or not play.

According to ESPN, the 6'10 forward was cleared by doctors to play in mid-February and has practiced with the team on a few different occasions since.

Martin said Porter, the No. 1 recruit in the country past year, will he able to help Missouri in a variety of ways.

After finishing the regular season with a 20-11 record, Missouri is now projected as a No. 8 seed in the NCAA tournament by ESPN's Joe Lunardi.
