Katy Perry keeps making headlines while being a judge on American Idol. After last week's unwanted kiss fiasco, Sunday's episode brought us another awkward moment.

It's no secret in the music world that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are adversaries-and their feud came to the forefront once again during Perry's American Idol judging gig.

The Firework singer reignited their feud when during auditions, fellow judge Luke Bryan asked one of the hopefuls who he looked up to as an artist.

Without reading the room - or, maybe, reading the room and deciding to do it anyways - the poor guy blurted out his answer: Taylor Swift. In fact, Katy Perry insisted that he call her right then and wanted to be the first person to talk to her. The clip cuts to the contestant cracking a big smile, then back to Perry, looking down, tilting her head to the side, and making a face that suggests that there's more meaning to what she said than what's on the surface.

One of the most memorable auditions so far on American Idol's reboot season was from singer-songwriter Effie Passero, who performed her original song "Troubled Mind" for the judges. I think it's actually like, I think it's time. Karma. There's the law of cause and effect: you do something, there's going to be a reaction. Perry has gone back and forth saying "Swish Swish" is about Swift and if she is over their bad blood or not. "We've had our differences but I just continue to say, 'God bless her on her journey".
