Blevins has experienced a rapid rise to digital stardom since he began streaming the trendy multiplayer game Fortnite, which is now the most popular game on Twitch.

Following Fortnite's launch on Apple's iOS devices, Pornhub says Fortnite-based searches are 77 percent more likely to come from Apple users than Android. So while PUBG earned nearly as much revenue in the month of February with $103 million in sales, most of those sales are one-time $30 purchases for the software license of the game itself through Steam.

Reflecting on the way Epic reacted to the issue, Lewis-Evans sees it as a way to solve disruptive play through game design. The stream, which took place last Wednesday night, set a record, garnering 6,00,000 concurrent viewers and knocking out Twitch's previous peak of 3,88,000. "If you've ever watched any of my streams or my YouTube videos - I do impressions and stuff like that all the time, and just insane shenanigans". I think the combination of that [game skill and entertainment] is really fun to watch.

Blevin admits that a bevy of his monthly income comes from Twitch and Amazon Prime subscribers, alongside his abundance of followers on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.

"This deal that Amazon Prime and Twitch Prime have together is incredible", he said. He understands that people are not just there to watch somebody play a video game - they are there to be entertained.

Blevins talked a bit about why Fortnite is so popular, and that popularity is certainly key to his financial windfall. "The fact that it is free to play is super huge, and it's already across all the [major] platforms", Ninja said. "Just accessibility and how friendly the game is, they are just hitting every single mark perfectly".

He doesn't want other students and lads to follow his footsteps since they might gamble away their hard-earned fortunes. His advice to students was never to just give up on education and leave it in the middle of their days as students. The game has managed to attract gamers of all ages, including popular artists, professional athletes, and other celebrities.
