Bryan has apparently had more teszting done than any WWE talent in history due to his attempts to get cleared over the past couple of years.

After the sadness of his retirement in February 2016 because of serious concussion issues, there was genuine joy around Bryan - both in the fan base and the professional wrestling community - on Tuesday.

This has been evidenced by an outpouring of activity on social media, to the point "Daniel Bryan" was trending worldwide.

They were thanked for all the love, but Bryan then wanted to point to the reason they were brought out to the ring on as he showed last week's attack of McMahon on the Titantron. Find out as The Road to WrestleMania continues on SmackDown LIVE, tonight at 8/7 C.

The highlight of the show was Bryan's opening segment as well as his closing segment with Sami Zay and Kevin Owens. Man leading to a two-on-one assault. Though it feels like there is little reason that SmackDown Live can not be riveting from start to finish.

Just the idea of these two locking up is enough to get your blood racing. Upon learning that Bryan is coming back, Miz gave the response one might expect he would. The WrestleMania WWE championship feud is taking a bit of a backseat on this Tuesday night, but given the Bryan news, that's completely understandable.

"I'm happy to open the door to people who are true fans and have a real passion for this business but I don't think this is an opportunity for the people who are only here for the money", she cautioned. Since his tearful in-ring farewell in early 2016, Bryan has continued to appear in WWE's reality programming on the E! network alongside his real-life wife, Brie Bella, and has been the on-screen general manager of WWE's Smackdown brand since the summer of 2016.
