Better Ways Jim Carrey Could've Trolled Sarah Huckabee Sanders

According to Twitter users, it didn't take Ace Ventura to figure out that Carrey's drawing bore a strong resemblance to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The actor described Sanders as "a so-called Christian whose only objective in life is to lie for the wicked" in the caption.

The painting is being called sexist for his portrayal of a woman in a power position and he's also being called out for criticizing her religious beliefs. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Trump's chief of staff, John F. Kelly.

Monday afternoon, Carrey tweeted another one of his paintings and wrote, "If you liked my last cartoon you may also enjoy..."

Twitter users knocked Carrey for his use of the word "Christian".

Carrey has been outspoken in his dislike for Trump administration over the past year.

Carrey painted a caricature of 35-year-old Huckabee Sanders depicting her as a angry-looking woman complete with a ruddy complexion and furrowed brow.

Jim Carrey tweeted this image that looks an very bad lot like Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Saturday and according to Fox News, the backlash over this depiction followed once it was seen by the public.

Carrey revealed that he was devoting more time to his paintings and taking a break from making movies to do so.

Another added, "This is one more reason that I'm done with Hollywood".

Carrey previously discussed his love of painting in a documentary short called I Love Color, explaining how the art form helped him to heal during hard times in his life.
