Monday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity", Vice President Mike Pence called on ABC's "The View" co-host Joy Behar to apologize for "slander" against Christians. So I think Vice President Pence is right.

Her apology came after weeks of protests by viewers who were outraged by Behar's remarks.

"I'm still encouraging her, to use the forum of that program or some other public forum, to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended".

"It is a good first step that Joy Behar privately apologized to Vice President Pence, but it is not almost enough", Bozell said in a statement released by MRC. "She picked up the phone". In a quip that reportedly drew thousands of angry phone calls, Behar said, "It's one thing to talk to Jesus".

Still, that wasn't enough for the second-in-command.

Pence later said, "To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong", and described Behar's comment as "religious intolerance".

During her apology on Tuesday, Behar said she had been raised to respect all faiths and that she fell short of that last month when she made the thoughtless comment.

"We would be begging for the days of Trump back if Pence became president". But he thinks Jesus is telling him to say things.

"My question is, can he talk to Mary Magdalene without his wife in the room?" she said.

Behar did just that on today's The View, after a brief introduction by show moderator Whoopi Goldberg. "It's another thing when Jesus talks to you", she said, adding that hearing messages from God is a form of "mental illness". But he thinks Jesus tells him to say things. First of all, Joy Behar apologized to Vice President Pence directly.

No matter how far Left she is, Behar revealed she agreed with the conservative Pence. "I sincerely apologize for what I said".

When former White House staffer and reality show star Omarosa Manigault spoke of Pence on her new show "Big Brother", she alleged that the vice president heard the voice of Jesus. Behar has apologized to @VP Pence, but refuses to apologize ON AIR to the millions of Christians she insulted.

The Daily Mail source reports that after the televised squabble, McCain "kept screaming, 'I can't believe she said she's offended by all Republicans".
