Stormzy, John Boyega and Daniel Sturridge were among an all-star audience at the Black Panther European premiere.

The actress, who plays Special Forces warrior Nakia in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, looked wonderful wearing a plunging shimmering dress with daring thigh high split.

Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman and Andy Serki were also there.

After slicing through Captain America: Civil War's presale record, then ascending to the top of the superhero throne by usurping Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice only a few weeks later, Black Panther is back breaking another box office record before it's even opened to the public.

The movie received rave reviews from critics who hailed it as one of the best Marvel movies which poignantly portrays Africa.

USA Today said that along with the fantastical elements of the film and its James Bond-style spycraft, "Black Panther" was extremely grounded "dealing with the consequences of age-old colonialism and exploring isolation at a time when actual countries are building borders rather than breaking them down". Ap were also there. But Jordan, normally cast as a good guy underdog for prior roles, has admitted that he did have to stretch-and dig deep-when it came to bringing the dark and conflicted character of Killmonger credibly to life for the film.

"She has a special relationship with T'Challa and what I love about that relationship is that it's not your average, you know, sweetheart story [with a] damsel in distress".

With a black director, black protagonist, and almost all-black supporting cast, a film like Black Panther is needed more than ever. "I mean, it just hasn't been done before".
