Parisa Fitz-Henley (of Jessica Jones and Midnight, Texas) will play Meghan and Murray Fraser (of The Loch and Victoria) will portray Harry.

In this scene, the most interesting thing is that it's exactly what we've seen from Harry and Meghan through their engagement pictures. Director Menhaj Huda's credits include The Royals, Coronation Street, Emmerdale Farm, By Any Means, Young Dracula, The Bill, and EastEnders.

Production begins later this week in Vancouver and Los Angeles and will debut this spring on Lifetime, presumably similary timed to release within days of the real royal wedding, on May 19, 2018.

Lifetime previously made a film about the relationship between Prince Harry's older brother, William, The Duke of Cambridge; and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Fortunately for those would-be shoppers, it's likely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ask for donations in lieu of gifts.

The cable network, known for its small-screen biopics, is planning a movie based on the history of the romance between Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Suits star Markle.

The news was confirmed by head of programming Liz Gateley during a conference, Deadline reported at the time. Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss (Flowers In the Attic) executive produce. Oh, and now, they'll also have to check something off of Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank's wish list as the pair has announced their official wedding date: October 12, 2018.

Prince Seeiso, who founded the Sentebale charity with Harry, said he would be attending the big day at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May. The Express reports: "Harry is understood to be keen to avoid causing her further pain".

With a planned airdate before the actual May 18 nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the movie will tell the story of their courtship while looking back at their lives before becoming globally-recognized personalities.

"We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love", Eugenie said at her public engagement announcement.

The show, which is now untitled, is believed to have been inspired by a conversation he had with producer Dan Farrah, musing on what would have happened if he and Meghan had had children together.
