Here at TiX we recently published an article detailing our most anticipated games of 2018, and its fair to say that Red Dead Redemption 2 is right up near the top!

Instead, the developers of "Red Dead Redemption 2" have opted to push back the game's launch to October 26 for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the Xbox One. The authors apologized to fans and called good reason for the delay - they need time to bring the action to mind.

According to the company's representatives, the reason for this delay is the need for additional time to "polish" the game. "We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it", Rockstar noted in a statement. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game.

In the coming weeks Rockstar will share new information about the project.

The next game from "Grand Theft Auto" studio Rockstar has been moved from April or May to October 2018, extending the studio's reputation for delays but not diminishing its obsession with quality. This makes the upcoming second entry a prequel to the original title. Expect lots of Western gun fights both on and off horseback. The previous title in the series did not receive a PC port, despite being based on the same engine as Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series which has always been a staple on PC. This could be indicative of just how huge the game world Rockstar Games is preparing for "Red Dead Redemption 2", seeing that it could be supporting a wide variety of climates and seasons. It's up for pre-order from GameStop and a few other major retailers, including Newegg which is now offering $10 off.
