On Sunday night, the Duchess of Cambridge faced one of her greatest fashion challenges to date after a letter urged BAFTA attendees to don all-black in support of the Time's Up movement.

While the Duchess did not opt for a black gown - the suggested color, in support of the "Time's Up" movement - the look's black accents are notable.

"My guess on this is that Kate will wear a dress that is black with some coloured/metallic detail", she tweeted.

Speaking backstage after her win, she said: "I would never judge anyone's choice, she looked absolutely attractive and I'm so happy for them that she's pregnant again".

William - who has been president of BAFTA since 2010 - and the Duchess of Cambridge took to the red carpet after the A-listers headed inside the Royal Albert Hall for the event.

So in order to side-step the issue, the 36-year-old opted for a deep, khaki-hued dress which ensured she didn't stand out from the sea of all-black too much.

Across the globe, people look at Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, both 36 years old, as the picture of elegance. Crafted by Philip Antrobus, Prince Philip designed the bracelet and presented it to his bride on their wedding day in 1947.

Kate did wear black past year though, stealing the show in floral Alexander McQueen.

The Duchess of Cambridge is now expecting her third child with Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived on the scene looking red carpet-ready, with the mom-of-two glowing in an elegant off-the-shoulder gown by Alexander McQueen teamed with colossal diamond earrings.
