No Office 2019 Without Windows 10

Delivering a secure and productive modern workplace is a top priority for many of our commercial customers, and we're committed to help.

Additionally, Office 2019 is getting a shorter period of extended support.

As for the other versions of Windows, currently, they are all flatlining under 10 percent.

Adverts that give "free scan" of a Windows PC which later identifies a malware or defects that only its paid software can remove are very common on the Internet and Microsoft will soon make a move to shield clients from these tricks. According to, for example, Windows 10 is still well behind Windows 7. However, unlike the Fall Creators Update, the Windows 10 Redstone 4 is not for creators. But it's also true that we should leave the things of the past in the past, sometimes.

Now Microsoft is putting its foot down regarding Office 365 ProPlus support.

The vast majority of holdouts from Windows 10 are enterprise customers who have stuck with Windows 7 as there has been no compelling reason for them to upgrade. Microsoft has been aiming to grow its consumer share for Windows 10 with its "Creators" push and associated features (Mixed Reality, 3D, inking, etc.). This will ensure that both Office and Windows receive regular, coordinated updates to provide the most secure environment with the latest capabilities.

To learn more about these updates, visit the support page. Although the Windows Store will try to suggest alternatives to software that isn't available there, if there's a particular program that Windows users want that isn't replaceable then unlocking the Windows 10 S machine to Windows 10 is the only answer. As per latest estimates, for the first time, the newer version of the popular OS overtook the eight-year-old version. "Software that is more than a decade old, and hasn't benefited from this innovation, is hard t secure and inherently less productive", they said. The activities will be synced in the background with Windows 10, Android and iPhones as long as the same Microsoft account is being used. Like previous versions of Office, it will come with five years of standard support, but the extended support is being dropped from five extra years to just two.

For Microsoft, it's a support nightmare.

On average, a release took about three years from inception to completion but only about six to nine months of that time was spent developing "new" code.

There is no change to the support term for existing versions of Office. Luckily, it seems that despite Microsoft's plans to shut down the free upgrade service for Win7 at the end of 2017, the program seems like it's still working, at least for now. It was mentioned that Office 2019 won't be hitting those PCs who are running any OS version later than Windows 10. There's also greater support for customization by schools and other organizations. Windows 10 has been on a good rise during the previous year, and Windows 7 has slowly been declining.

Microsoft's revealed that Office 2019's desktop applications will only run on Windows 10 and shorted support for the forthcoming release of the suite.
