The surprise rise and popularity of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" now has a place in history as Microsoft gave the game its own Xbox One S bundle. The bundle itself will retail for $299.99 online and at participating retailers (such as Amazon, Best Buy, and more).

A full game download of PUBG is included alongside a one month Xbox Live Gold trial.

Asked on Twitter if DayZ would ever be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation, Bohemia said, "Yes, coming to Xbox Game Preview at some point this year".

The Xbox One S PUBG bundle will arrive on February 20th, 2018 - for a closer look at the bundle and where to pick it up/pre-order it, you can find out more here.

Since release, the game broke all of Steam's concurrent player records, and has also sold over 26 million copies across PC and Xbox One.

Soon, DayZ will be a part of the Game Preview program for the Xbox One.

The Game Pass trial is of particular interest as it now includes access to all new Microsoft Studio games such as Sea of Thieves - which is released on March 20 - and future titles like Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2.

DayZ is a gritty, authentic, open-world survival horror hybrid-MMO game, in which players follow a single goal: to survive in the harsh post-apocalyptic landscape as long as they can.

The bundle will include an Xbox One S with a 1TB hard drive, complete with an Xbox One wireless controller and built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, along with premium audio thanks to the Dolby Atmos app.
