Premier League leaders Manchester City face Wigan on Monday for a chance to reach the last eight, with the reward being a home tie against Southampton.

The top Premier League sides have managed to avoid each other in the next round.

Manchester United beat Brighton 4-0 in a replay to win the 1983 FA Cup after the first match finished 2-2.

The games will take place between the 16th and 19th of March.

United can't take their eye off the ball in the league, despite comfortably being in the top four most of the season, with Spurs just four points behind them in fifth.

Jose Mourinho's side narrowly beat Albion 1-0 when the sides met in the Premier League at Old Trafford at the end of a year ago.

Although they still have to overcome Paul Cook's Wigan Athletic, the Catalan is on the road to perhaps achieving something very rare in only his second season with the club.

Leicester will fancy their chances when Chelsea visit the east Midlands in the next round.

Should, as expected, Manchester City beat Wigan on Monday then Pep Guardiola's men will lock horns with Mauricio Pellegrino's Southampton at the Etihad.

"Man United may be out of the Champions League places before long".
