PM Modi starts his 90 day Nava Nirman Parivarthan yatra in the poll-bound Karnataka.

Karnataka Congress on Sunday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not mentioning the Mahadayi river issue during his speech in Bengaluru earlier today.

Reacting to Siddaramaih's tweet, BJP Karnataka president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) lashed out at the ruling government as he mocked Siddaramaiah's tweet and said "Karnataka indeed has scripted several firsts" pointing out corruption and farmer suicides.

"I have been told that the Karnataka government is being recognised as 10 per cent government as no work is possible without 10 per cent commission", Modi accused the State government. If corruption has to end, the state has to be made Congress-free, he said. "15 lakh commuters of the city will be benefited by it", he claimed. Starting and ending his speech in Kannada, the PM recalled some great personalities of Karnataka, starting from Nada Prabhu Kempegowda, and said: "The BJP will definitely ensure Congress-mukt Karnataka, we don't want the Congress culture to exist in the nation".

Karnataka has for always been demanding Prime Minister's intervention in resolving the inter state Mahadayi river water sharing dispute by calling a meeting of chief ministers of riparian states that includes Goa and Mahrashtra.

Making a poll pitch to the state's farmers, Modi said the Budget presented by the Centre shows the BJP's commitment to the rural sector.

"Bengaluru is known as a Dynamic City worldwide". PM Modi informed, "We have launched "Operation Green" in interest of these farmers". Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra all BJP-governed States are top rankers in crime share. However, the prime minister did not talk about the politically sensitive Mahadayi river dispute. "It is an insult to Karnataka", said Parameshwara, adding that Modi might have been mislead by his own people.

"If the BJP is dreaming of coming to power by misleading the people of Karnataka they are mistaken". "To free from Congress" culture, from society, from public life, from politics". "Congress will come to power in Karnataka again", he asserted.
