Kodi has committed to rolling out regular updates for its Xbox client.

Microsoft got its fair share of criticism past year for the lack of exclusive games for Xbox One, and it seems like they got the message loud and clear.

Xbox One Alpha Insiders are now testing a new firmware that brings a couple of nifty features.

Other new features include additional options for shutting down the console. Although the website is not publicly accessible at the moment, the website may further describe how the upcoming Career system would work with Xbox Achievements. There are sort filters too that let you prioritise next achievements by "closest", "most common, "rarest", "most common rare" or 'highest Gamerscore".

We're also getting Mini Game Hubs, which allow access to content from recently played games from a Game Hub without needing to exit whatever game you are playing.

There are also a few tweaks to social settings. Mini Game Hubs provide an easy way to see friends who are now playing, upcoming Achievements, Looking for Group posts, and more. You'll soon be able to see a peek of the most recent comment on community posts, with comments rearranged to place those that are most recent at the top. You'll now be able to choose from one, two, three, four, five or six hours of inactivity for the system to power down.

A fix is now being determined for guide/home crashes.

For users encountering issues where some installed games are failing to launch: If the games are installed to an external drive, Insiders are being asked to copy the game to the internal drive or attempt to delete the title and re-download.

Users wishing to represent themselves as an avatar can do so by changing their settings under My profile Customize profile Show my avatar.
