Thibaut Courtois unhappy with Chelsea's boo-boys

Thibaut Courtois has criticised Chelsea fans for booing after they were held to a goalless draw by Leicester on Saturday, their third stalemate in a week.

The home side managed just one shot on target while Leicester managed seven.

The Blues were second best for most of the game and, although they improved in the latter stages when the Foxes had Ben Chilwell sent off, Chelsea could not find the breakthrough.

The Belgian internationals future has been the subject of intense speculation recently with Real Madrid said to be monitoring his contract situation closely, and the Spanish giants may well feel that comments like these suggest he may not be completely happy with life at Stamford Bridge.

With the point, Chelsea missed a chance to close the gap on the two Manchester clubs ahead of them, while the Foxes stay in eighth place.

Eden Hazard is a "top player" but may have to leave Chelsea for one of the "great teams in Europe" to become the best, says Claude Puel.

Even though Chelsea didn't inspire much on Wednesday night against Arsenal they should be able to get the job done against Leicester, while I've also, slightly riskily perhaps, picked out another team who were in League Cup action in midweek.

"We will see. We have discussions with different players".

It had always been his intention to field largely the same players against Leicester as against Arsenal, in last Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg, and he once again lamented the size of his squad.

"I think it's important to keep a good ambition against any opponent". If they start shouting it doesn't help us.

With an eye on the FA Cup third-round replay against Norwich on Thursday morning (Singapore time), Conte is concerned by the signs of fatigue following the draining Christmas and New Year fixture pile-up.
