The gathering in Davos starts Tuesday.

However, the Prime Minister rued that at times there is less criticism and more allegations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said he will share his vision for India's future engagements with the worldwide community during his Davos trip, as he sought "serious attention" of world leaders on existing and emerging challenges to the contemporary global systems.

"Certainly, we will increase Russia's role - participation of Russian Federation in certain projects related to development of new technologies will be announced during Davos", the minister said.

"We are taking Davos. on a day by day basis", White House budget director Mick Mulvaney told journalists, without providing further details.

Modi will also host a dinner for global CEOs tomorrow.

According to a Swiss government statement, negotiations on a bilateral investment protection pact and the envisaged free trade agreement between India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), of which Switzerland is a member, will figure prominently during PM Modi's meeting with President Berset. It is natural that the world wants to talk directly to India and the world wants to hear directly from the horse's mouth about India's policies and potential. The PM has taken keen interest to ensure that India showcases its soft skills globally. He was speaking in an interview to a private news channel.
