Frost is expected in many areas, but on the fringes of the east coast, temperatures will stay just above freezing. There will be light to moderate winds and highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees.

"A mostly dry day will follow with sunny spells for a time, but cloud will gradually thicken from the south, with patchy drizzle developing near the south coast".
