Real Madrid plotting Harry Kane for Gareth Bale swap with Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino has said the brilliance of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has prevented winger Son Heung-min from receiving the plaudits he deserves this season.

Marca say Mauricio Pochettino has "poured a jug of cold water" over Real Madrid fans by insisting Kane is priceless.

As we've pointed out a few times at Sport Witness, Marca haven't yet gone huge on Harry Kane to Real Madrid. "That was two years ago or more", Pochettino said in August.

The Spurs boss claimed that Morata was anxious about playing second fiddle to Kane, which he felt was the main reason behind a possible switch breaking down.

Real Madrid are set to launch a sensational £150 million bid for Harry Kane, which could see Gareth Bale return to Tottenham in part-exchange, the Daily Star reports.

However, the Spaniard, who hailed Kane as one of the best strikers in the world, has dismissed Pochettinho's remarks. "I spoke with him and he said he wanted both [of us] to play together, but there was no chance to come to Tottenham", Morata told Sky Sports recently.

Kane is a player who puts "happiness before fame" and is now very content to remain with Tottenham, as far as Marca are concerned.

Six out of those 10 goals have come with his head. "But I think I can do better with the head and the feet", Morata said.

"Always I can improve something". I have seen over the years with Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Inzaghi, Batistuta, they have that natural instinct that can really make goalkeepers suffer - and it's clear Kane also has that. It's my first year here but I think I can do better and I need to do that.
