For those unaware, the historic first match for this season between the Overwatch League's San Francisco Shock and the Los Angeles Valiant begins on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 4:00 PM PT. Blizzard has also been kind enough to post the day's full schedule, which can be seen right here. The Overwatch League in-game menu isn't just for staring at the shiny new skins - players can watch the games via this menu when they're live. To get the skins costs tokens, which are $5 for 100 tokens. Team-branded skins were announced past year on December 4.

Fifty percent of revenue from the Overwatch League skins will go to a shared pot for the teams.

Each of the league teams competing this season will have thier skins made available for all platforms and will become available with an update launching today. Only the Home skins are available for the teams, making for a grand total of 312 new skins added to the game.

See the team skins for all 12 city-based franchises. For those more fragal players, you'll get that one free skin based off of that first time login bonus. Naturally, the streaming company and Blizzard have cooked up exclusive in-game rewards, likely in the vein of the jerseys the latter recently released within Overwatch to hype up the league. Activision Blizzard stated it will announce more details around these in-game rewards in the future.

"Our fans love to engage with content on Twitch, and we wanted to drive significant viewership of the Overwatch League in its inaugural season and beyond", said Armin Zerza, COO of Blizzard Entertainment. If you want to watch the matches in person, that's a different story: Every game during the first season will be played at the new Blizzard Arena Los Angeles, which charges admission. "Given Overwatch's consistent reign as a top viewed game by our community, we look forward to offering their pioneering style of league play to a large and passionate fanbase that will be able to bond over not only their favorite plays, but hometown pride".
