Kane has 18 goals and 27 assists this season, with those 45 points ranking 13th-best in the league.

In Tampa, Green will reunite with two of his former close friends in Washington, Braden Holtby and fellow former Caps Young Gun Alex Ovechkin.

The National Hockey League today announced that Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Noah Hanifin will represent the Metropolitan Division at the 2018 NHL All-Star Weekend, to take place from January 27-28 in Tampa.

The NHL revealed Wednesday that Patrick Kane was the lone Blackhawks representative named to the 2018 All-Star team. It will be the fifth All-Star Game for the Canadiens' 30-year-old goalie. Schenn has provided clutch scoring early in his stint with the Blues, as he ranks second in the National Hockey League with six game-winning goals on the season.

He hasn't put up the number he's used to and the team is a longshot to make the playoffs, but Carey Price will be an All-Star this year nonetheless.

The Kings are the only team in the Western Conference to have three players chosen for the Jan.28 game at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. The selections mark the first career All-Star appearance for both Pietrangelo and Schenn, who have each played a significant role for St. Louis thus far this season.
