Five women have come forward to accuse actor James Franco of being sexually abusive and exhibiting sexually inappropriate behavior.

Franco taught acting at North Hollywood's Playhouse West, and then opened up his own school, Studio 4, in Los Angeles and NY.

Franco's attorney, Michael Plonsker, denied the allegations and pointed to comments made by Franco earlier this week, according to the Times. The Los Angeles Times published the details of the alleged encounters on Thursday, January 11, just days after the Golden Globe victor denied previous claims of sexual misconduct.

Yesterday former student Sarah Tither-Kaplan claimed that, in a nude orgy scene three years ago, he "removed protective plastic guards" covering other actresses" private parts while "simulating oral sex on them'.

Franco rebutted the allegations and responded in much the same way as when the subject came up on Tuesday night's "Late Show With Stephen Colbert".

Two other women, who have chosen to remain anonymous, claimed that the Spring Breakers actor would become furious when the female students whom he asked to remove their tops would refuse. I truly believe, and why I was wearing the pin, is that they need to be a part of this conversation.

Actress Ally Sheedy, who worked with Franco in his 2014 off-Broadway play The Long Shrift, also alluded to his behaviour on Twitter on Sunday night, but has not revealed any specifics.

"The things that I heard on Twitter are not accurate".

Hilary Dusome - who attended one of Franco's classes in 2012 - was chosen alongside a number of other actresses who appeared in what she thought was one of Franco's "art films".

"In my life, I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I've done", he said.

When Meyers asked Franco whether or not he has reached out to Sheedy about her claims he replied flatly: "She took the tweet down".

The 39-year-old actor won the award for Best Actor in a Comedy at last night's Critics' Choice Awards for his role as Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist. She says he "would always make everybody think there were possible roles on the table if we were to perform sexual acts or take off our shirts".

Recalling an incident in which the two of them were in the vehicle, she says "I was talking to him, all of a sudden his penis was out".

"I have no idea why she was upset".

"I'm embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky", Franco said. The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate.
