While the ICC U19 WC 2018 is set to be the most widely available edition yet, reaching a total of 1.3 billion viewers across five continents, Indian fans will get to catch all the action on Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 1 HD. However, India won their last match against Sri Lanka, before which their opening game against Australia was called off due to rain. Consequently, Pakistan had to go into the game with five players absent for selection, who couldn't get their visas in time to travel for the match.

The tournament includes teams from cricket-playing nations such as Australia, England and India.

This will be the 12th edition of the tournament and the third on New Zealand soil. However, only teams from Bangladesh and Nepal have agreed to play in Pakistan for now, while matches with other countries are scheduled to be held in UAE.
