Harry Kane and Dele Alli will still be at Tottenham next season after chairman Daniel Levy ruled out a summer sale of the club's star duo.

Harry Kane is also expecting a new contract offer, potentially worth up to £200,000-a-week.

Alli has become one of the most sought-after talents in Europe and has his fair share of admirers in Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Real Madrid. Danny Rose has expressed some of his frustrations at the club and has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

"Of course, all the clubs and the managers want to keep their best players and we are in the same way, to keep the best and try to make the team stronger each season".

Spurs chairman Levy this week stated he is "100 per cent confident" the north London side will retain their prized assets, both this month and during the off-season transfer window. So long as Alderweireld is out, we're likely to continue to see the 4-2-3-1 that Pochettino has implemented for much of the season, with some combination of Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, and Mousa Dembele in the central midfield pivot.

He added: "Mauricio's strategy has always been if an opportunity arises he thinks can improve the squad, then we are willing to look at it".

Having claimed he was racially abused by the Liverpool striker, Holgate himself is reportedly facing the prospect of Football Association action for alleged homophobic tweets sent from a now-deleted Twitter account more than five years ago. However, if Spurs manage to keep hold of their two megastars, they will be content on a brighter road ahead for the club. "Sometimes the media knows before me the player who we are going to sign".
