Reigning World Footballer of the Year and Ballon d'Or victor Cristiano Ronaldo has been left angered by plans by secret moves by Real Madrid to sign Chelsea sensation, Eden Hazard, as the club's new Galactico. Real's president Florentino Perez chose to give up on the pursuit to get Manchester United's David de Gea after following him for four seasons now.

The 21-year-old started the season in stunning form, scoring two absolute crackers in either leg of the Spanish Super Cup, but has since been restricted to just nine starts in La Liga this season, with a further five appearances coming off the bench.

Real are also expected to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao as they completely overhaul their goalkeeper ranks. The Blues now sit 14 points behind table-toppers Manchester City.

And now Don Balon claim Hazard could arrive alongside Courtois and Azpilicueta from Stamford Bridge. "I think the family is not a problem".

"When you are in a great club and you trust in the project, you want to stay". The Belgian has already proved his worth for any side, in his stint in the Premier League with him replacing club legend Petr Cech.

The Belgian forward, 26, was back to his best last season as Chelsea romped to the Premier League title, after a sub-par season before in which he struggled for goals.

However, manager of the European champions Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Hazard.
