Dolores O'Riordan: Funeral to be held next week

Dan Waite revealed how she seemed positive during a voicemail he received just prior to her death: 'She was looking forward to seeing me in the studio and recording vocals.

An inquest into the singer's death has been adjourned until 3 April to allow for a full post-mortem and test results to be received by the coroner BBC News reports.

"The coroner is now waiting to compile all the evidence - including potential toxicology reports - before an inquest will be opened, Westminster's Coroner's Court confirmed today".

Dolores is predeceased by her father Terence and is very deeply regretted by her mother Eileen, children Taylor, Molly and Dakota, their father Don, brothers Terence, Brendan, Donal, Joseph and PJ, and sister Angela, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, all other relatives and a large circle of friends. The mum-of-three passed away at the Hilton Park Lane hotel in London on Monday morning, with police confirming that her death was not being treated as suspicious and that the case had been passed to a coroner.

"The band are floored but it's of course her family we're all thinking of right now", U2 said as a whole via their official Instagram page.

The singer's publicist said she died during a short recording trip to London, but declined to comment on the cause of death.

The singer spoke about how the lyrics to the fan favourite song still ring true as much today as they did back when the tune was first released in 1994.

The funeral of Dolores O'Riordan, the singer of The Cranberries, will take place in Limerick next Tuesday.

O'Riordan, who has performed with Irish rock band since 1989, was 46.
