But Meghan Markle didn't start life as a royal.

In a statement, Kensington Palace told Us Weekly, "Ms. Markle is grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years, however as she has not used them for some time, she has taken the decision to close them".

Inside Reprezent's studios, they met presenter Gloria Beyi, 17, host of radio show Glory Talks, who was on air, and her producer, Finn Whitehead, 27.

Markle, 36, frequently posted photos of her home, her dogs, her travels and food on Instagram, and shared information about her activism and charitable work and other interests on Twitter.

Meghan Markle made her second official engagement alongside Prince Harry on Tuesday and as usual all eyes were on the United States actress. When she was a budding actress, Meghan was an avid social media user, and even had her own lifestyle website called The Tig.

The couple's first official appearance was last month at a World AIDS Day event and Meghan also spent Christmas 2017 with Harry and the royal family at Sandringham. Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Prince William, for example, don't have personal social media handles.

Mr Markle split from Meghan's mother when the future Royal was just six years old and has kept out of the public eye since the couple announced their engagement.

Markle, a Los Angeles native, also intends to become a United Kingdom citizen, a process which will take several years.

Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle hold hands as they leave after visiting radio station Reprezent FM, in Brixton, London January 9, 2018.

The U.S. actress and the queen's grandson are due to marry May 19 at Windsor Castle.
