'Assassin's Creed: Origins' rumors: New Game+ mode in the works?

In a post on their website more details for the upcoming title update as well as the expansion were revealed. That begins this month when a free update and the first DLC expansion will be released alongside the return of a limited-time event on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This New Game+ or New Game Plus mode will let players start the game all over again with their old save files, which they used to finish the main story once. If you recall when Ubisoft announced its 2018 content plan a year ago, The Hidden Ones features Bayek face off against the invading Romans who have taken over an entirely new region in the game. In addition, it will bump the game's level cap from 40 to 45, letting Bayek become even more powerful. The Hidden Ones will be available at no additional cost to Season Pass owners. You'll now have a chance to earn pieces from the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator, and Wacky packs in-game. Other than that, a new option to sell outfits will be implemented to the game.

Alongside the paid DLC, a few free items will be released, most notably a new quest meant to set up the expansion.

Ubisoft is also bringing back its Trials of the Gods event; players can face off against Anubis from January 9-16, and Sobek from January 23-30. Some of the other major changes coming to Assassin's Creed Origins in January are listed below. The in-game Store and Ubisoft Club will also be updated with the Almighty Pack on 16th January and a new For Honor Pack and Warden's Oath Outfit on 30th January.

Ubisoft has not set an exact date for The Hidden Ones' arrival, but we're expecting it sooner rather than later - Trophies for the expansion have already been spotted out in the wild.
