How could that go possibly wrong?

Toddlers and small children were gathered around a nativity scene as a choir sang verses of "Away in a Manger", but Tana's daughter - 2-year-old Teegan, who was portraying a sheep - made a decision to liven up the production.

It all went down a few days ago, at a church in Tennessee, outside Knoxville.

The show went on after a little parental intervention.

Midway through the song, young Teegan decided that she'd rather play with baby Jesus' likeness instead of congregating around his manger. Momma to the rescue tried her best to protect her baby at all costs. "Laughed so hard I cried!"

"Actually everything on my Facebook has been really private, and it was private, and then a lady asked if she could share it", Benson said.

The video posted to Facebook by the sheep's mother Tana Benson has gone viral. She couldn't resist stealing baby Jesus, a baby doll, and then dancing with him on stage to "Away in a Manger".

'Everyone is very welcome to join us as we re-tell the story of this very special night when we greet the baby Jesus, born to be the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace and the Light of the World'. "This is insane.' So then just the way I guess it just kind of went viral, as they say, it's been overwhelming for sure". "[Mary] is a stickler for the rules. Do we stop them, what do we do?' And with tears in my eyes I said, 'no, I think it'll just make it worse we'll just wait till they're done'".
