He said: "Definitely on Xbox One X, 60FPS".

Talking through the official PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds Twitter account, he states that PUBG will actually run at 30fps across all Xbox platforms. Now, however, the creator of the game has gone back on that statement and clarified that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will in fact run at 30fps on all Xbox One devices.

Still, Greene said in his tweet that the team was "constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS", so it may well get better in the future. So I think we could see incredible numbers on console, but again, I don't want to jinx it.

The game has been able to overtake titans of the industry such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 in concurrent player count, with millions of users playing at a time from all over the world. Not only is the hugely popular arena shooter slated to exit early access on PC by the end of the month, but it will also be arriving on consoles.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds does support HDR (High Dynamic Range) on Xbox One S and Xbox One X which will help boost the image quality despite not having a higher resolution.

PUBG (Player Unknown's Battlegrounds) rose from relative obscurity to one of the most played games on Steam.

It will be available worldwide on Xbox One on December 12 under "Xbox Game Preview". Not only that, it has now been revealed that there will be two versions of the game on mobile.

Oh, and if the announcement about the first release wasn't enough of a surprise, there is apparently a second Playerunknown's Battlegrounds mobile game coming to Android in China that looks a little closer to the original PC game.
