The middle Ball child wasn't even projected to start for UCLA this year.

LaVar also told ESPN that the agent, Harrison Gaines, has been working the phones to deal with overseas squads that reportedly have some interest.

Agent Harrison Gaines represents all three of Ball's sons, including Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo.

The idea of signing both the less-heralded LiAngelo and LaMelo could intrigue a team either in Europe or China, given that LaMelo is only high school age and is the 17th-ranked prospect in the the 2019 Rivals 150. From there, the animated Trump gets really mad, pulls out his phone, and scrolls to a video, which just loops the animation all over again.

"I don't care about the money", LaVar Ball told Goodman. "There will be three people with them all the time", he said.

The Ball brothers could even find themselves playing in the Chinese league, where several former National Basketball Association players have gone on to make million-dollar salaries towards the end of their careers. Lietkabelis coach Arturs Stalbergs subsequently scoffed at the idea in a since-deleted tweet that poked fun at LiAngelo's shoplifting arrest in China last month.

LaMelo Ball was supposed to be playing basketball for Chino Hills this season in his junior year.

LiAngelo was suspended by UCLA after shoplifting during a basketball trip to China, and is no longer attending classes.

Signing with an agent would prevent LaMelo, who had been committed to UCLA, from playing college basketball. Ball said the entire family came to an agreement "that was the best thing for him". It's a future that has nearly certainly been made more unlikely by this move.
