Alongside the image, Kardashian West wrote: "Famous". "I made that b**** famous", approved. Past year when the drama first unfolded, commenters began referring to Swift as a snake, a narrative she has since reclaimed with her latest album, Reputation.

Last year, Taylor publicly took offence to her reference in Yeezy's 2016 track, which saw the rapper refer to her as a "b*tch" and claimed that he made her famous.

"The first two songs in Swift's "Reputation" album was a counter-attack on the couple, with several lines and scenes from the lyrics and music video of "Look What You Made Me Do" and ".Ready for It?" allegedly aimed at the Kardashian-West duo. In his song "Famous", Kanye rapped about Taylor in the line "For all my Southside n--s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why?" Fans also speculated several songs were inspired by the "bad blood" between her and Kardashian-West.

Kim Kardashian is never, ever, ever letting the beef die.

She appears to address the feud head on in This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, with one lyric reading: "And therein lies the issue/ Friends don't try to trick you/ Get you on the phone and mind-twist you". It featured the naked wax figures of West, Taylor Swift, and other celebrities, as originally seen in West's video of the same name.

Kim then chose to release a recording of the audio online where Taylor could be heard calling the song a "compliment".

Swift's defense was that while, yes, she was fine with the gag about hooking up with West, she did not expect to be called the B-word.

Cohen pointed out that Smith attended the Reputation singer's birthday party, to which he responded, "Yeah, but, I think a lot of people went", noting that he and Swift didn't speak one-on-one at the event.
