The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 at the top. At a launch event in London on Tuesday, it announced that it's the number one smartphone brand in China, and recently said that it wants to become the most popular smartphone brand in India.

In addition to winning the number one spot as the leading smartphone e-brand in China, Honor also became the number one and number three e-brand in Finland and Russian Federation respectively.[2] Honor's sales grew significantly on Black Friday in the United States and Europe this year.

The worst thing you could say about the design is that it's a little derivative - a potential nitpick which also applies to the OnePlus 5T and Honor 7X.

The Honor 7X is available for preorder beginning today for shipping December 15.

HONOR HAS announced the much anticipated Honor View 10, the first global launch for the View series. The Honor 7X comes in Blue, Gold and Black finishes. The microSD card slot supports up to 256 GB of additional storage.

The Honor View 10 looks like a lot of other premium phones this year, sporting an 18:9 display. The phone comes with a 3340mAh battery.

It measures just 6.97mm thick, and the fingerprint sensor has been squeezed underneath the screen.

Design-wise, all the three have a metal backplate and while they offer a similar build quality, the arrangement of the cameras on the back make them look different.

For starters the Honor 7X has already grabbed eyeballs for its edge to edge large 5.9-inch, 1080 x 2160 FHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The 2.5D glass face flows seamlessly into the aluminium chassis.

The new Kirin 970 features an octa-core ARM Cortex CPU and a Mali-G72 12-core GPU. It was released in only one single configuration i.e. 6GB + 128GB whereas, in China, a 4GB + 64GB variant is available as well.

Firstly, the rear cameras on the Honor 6x and 7x differ with the megapixel count, as the aperture size remains the same but the 16MP camera on the back of Honor 7x is capable of taking some better pictures when compared to the 12MP camera on the back of the device, and the two have a 2MP secondary camera for the depth sensing. There is also portrait mode on the front-facing camera, but it's not as intense as the rear camera, since the front-facing camera is doing it all with software.

The Honor View 10 uses USB Type-C for charging and supports NFC. It is equipped with a 3,340mAh non-removable battery.
