Gujarat polled 68%, say final EC figures

Taking to Twitter on Friday, Yadav posted the exit poll results of Bihar Assembly elections 2015 and posted,"Remember Exit Poll predictions for Bihar Elections- 2015: Today's Chanakya: BJP-155, GA-83; NewsX/CNX: BJP- 95, GA -135 Times Now-CVoter: BJP-111, GA-122; Dainik Jagran: BJP-130 GA - 97; ABP/ Nielsen: BJP-130 GA- 108; India Today-Cicero: BJP-120 GA- 117". A poll of polls projected a 47-20 seat share in favour of the saffron party in the 68-seat Himachal Pradesh Assembly. The Today's Chanakya exit polls on the Himachal Pradesh elections predicts 55 seats for the BJP and 13 for the Congress. ABP-CSDS projects a 49-seat win for the BJP and 41 for the Congress.

The Times Now-VMR exit poll predicted the BJP to win 113 and the Congress 66 in Gujarat. Sahara Samay has predicted that the BJP will get between 110-120 seats while the Congress will get 65-75 seats. The main opposition party, the Congress, is projected to win 36-82 seats before the official tally on Monday. He went up against the BJP's Prem Kumar Dhumal. In the 2012 election, the Congress came to power by winning 36 seats, while the BJP got 26 seats and others bagged the remaining six.

Matar in Kheda district is one of the 182 constituencies in the state.

According to the final figures released by the poll panel, the voter turnout in the second phase of balloting yesterday for 93 seats of north and central Gujarat stood at 69.99%. There were 851candidates in the fray and around 2.23 crore voters. The first phase of the elections to 89 seats in Gujarat was held on December 9, with a 68% voter turnout.
