At The Game Awards, we got a look at the announcement trailer for Campo Santo's next game, called In The Valley of Gods. Setting up the equipment and filming different things will supposedly make each playthrough unique, although they can't go into more details at this time as the game is still in very early development. It appears to be a first-person adventure game that takes place in a 20th century Egypt, given the equipment the characters use. You play as a disgraced former filmmaker and explorer, reunited with your old partner for a project that could leave you with fame and fortune-or dead and buried in the sand.

In the Valley of Gods is being developed on the latest version of Unity.

The only bad news, is that 2019 or later release window.

In the Valley of Gods is scheduled for release in 2019.
