Bryan Singe, the American film director-producer, has been sued for sexually assaulting a man. When Sanchez-Guzman refused, Singer allegedly forced him onto a bed and raped him.

After Singer was replaced as the director of Bohemian Rhapsody, his production company, Bad Hat Harry, shut down.

As a result of the alleged incident, Sanchez-Guzman said that he'd experienced "severe psychological, mental and emotional injuries, shame, humiliation and loss of enjoyment of life". The suit adds that Singer also forcibly performed oral sex on Guzman, and then he anally raped the boy. After he was sacked, Singer said he was unable to make it to the set because he was caring for an ailing parent.

In a chilling resemblance to the allegations made against Hollywood boss Harvey Weinstein, the court filing also alleges that Singer offered to help Sanchez-Guzman get into acting as long as he never said anything about the alleged incident.

A statement issued by Singer's lawyer, Andrew Brettler states: "Bryan categorically denies these allegations and will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end. Guzman claims he pleaded with Singer to stop, but he kept going. causing him to choke".

According to legal documents, Cesar Sanchez-Guzman claims that he met the 52-year-old at a yacht party consisting mostly of "young gay males in the Seattle area" over a decade ago. Egan claimed he was sexually assaulted by Singer but later dropped the suit.

Singer's spokesperson said: "The attorney behind this lawsuit is the same lawyer who represented Michael Egan, the convicted felon who sued Bryan Singer in 2014. Those claims were dismissed by Egan himself, and he later went to Federal prison for lying in a fraud case", the rep told TMZ. Herman and another attorney representing Egan paid Ancier an undisclosed seven-figure settlement for malicious prosecution.

"In an apology to those individuals, Egan's attorney acknowledged the claims that had been filed were 'untrue and provably false'".

I don't know if Singer has a sick mother or not but a statement from the studio over the weekend described his absence as "unexpected". There was reportedly on-set "chaos" and ongoing clashing between Singer and the film's star Rami Malek (Mr. Robot).
