Bridge Constructor Portal brings GLaDOS to the Switch

Portal is one of the most famous video game series around, as most Valve franchises tend to become. In its announcement, Headup Games said it has been working on the new game since a year ago, adding that it "fully embraces the Portal license, one of the most beloved video game franchises of the last decade".

For those expecting (hoping) for Half-Life 3, or perhaps even a continuation in the Portal series this may not be exactly what was hoped for...or even imagined.

Bridge Constructor Portal is expected to come out in two weeks, on the 20th of December, for PC, Android, and iOS.

The teaser trailer shows it will be a puzzler set in another (vehicle-based) test chamber of the Aperture Science facility.

The title "blends the laws of structural engineering and technology", by using Aperture Laboratories tech all under the "watchful eye" of GLaDOS.

In any case, Bridge Constructor Portal is actually right around the corner. This new game fully embraces the Portal license which means everything associated with Portal should be incorporated.

Those mechanics have found a sizable audience, as Bridge Constructor has surpassed more than a million copies sold.

Bridge Constructor Portal is also coming to the consoles, but it won't jump through a tear in the fabric of space on those platforms until 2018. There's only one problem: Portal 2 came out way back in 2011, leaving players without a new Portal game for the past six years.
