The driver of the truck was not harmed.

Gardai say the three men and a woman were declared dead at the scene last night following this horrific crash at Begerin Hill about four kilometres east of New Ross on the N25.

Gardaí (Irish Police) believe the two older passengers may have originally been from Ireland.

It is being reported that there have been a number of fatalities in the Co Wexford crash, which is said to have involved a vehicle and a lorry.

The collision occurred just off the N25 between Cushinstown and Begern Cross on the New Ross to Ballinaboule road.

The scene has been sealed off for Gardaí to conduct an investigation into the collision.
