A USA woman is on the run after she clambered through a McDonald's drive-thru window and stole large quantities of food and cash. She is being charged with burglary and theft and is in the booking process at the Howard County Detention Center.

Earlier this week, Howard County police posted surveillance video from the McDonald's at 8305 Benson Dr.in Columbia showing a woman climbing through the drive-thru window around 1 a.m. November 5 after the restaurant was closed. Investigators determined that $1,400 in cash was missing from the restaurant.

After comparing Cross's MVA photo to the video and confirming she owns a white Hyundai, detectives determined that Cross was the suspect in the burglary.

A woman who police dubbed the "Hamburglar" has turned herself in, CBS Baltimore reports.

In the video, the woman can be seen getting a drink and eventually leaving with a box of supplies through the window.

Once she notices no one is around, the brazen robber climbs through the window and into the store, where she is seen stealing a large box of food, as well as a purse and drink.

Police said the video also shows Cross attempting to disable the surveillance system and even washing out the cash register drawers to remove her fingerprints.

A reward of up to $500 is being offered for information in this case.
