The 38-year-old actor, best known for "Transformers" and the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, has been undergoing a lengthy legal battle against his ex-wife since she claimed he was abusive to their 10-year-old daughter.

Since making the post about the Pinkett-Smiths, Gibson has posted seven more Instagrams, eight tweets, and posted to his Facebook page twice-not exactly a hiatus.

Gibson said the couple sent him the money to help keep him "afloat", and that they told him to "get off and stay off the Internet" now that his "daughter's legal fees will be paid".

"When we show UP for each other, there's nothing that can't be done!" The Gibson's Uncle Will you're an uncle for real.... He also took aim at his rich friends for turning their backs on him during his tough time, which has taken its toll on his bank balance.

For the past few months Tyrese has been very open about the nasty legal battle his is now in with his ex-wife Norma Gibson over their daughter Shayla Gibson. Currently, his ex-wife Norma Gibson is seeking full custody of their daughter in addition to a permanent restraining order against Tyrese. They told me to go easy. just know that it's just good to know there's still some really nice honest people out here.

Tyrese hasn't detailed what he exactly he intends to use the $5 million for, but we will probably find out about it on social media, despite the Smiths' wishes. Norma recently accused Tyrese of child abuse, but he was cleared of the charges after the Department of Child and Family Services completed its investigation.
