In the teaser, we see the baby Jack-Jack firing lasers from his eyes.

"You have powers!" Bob shouts with joy as Jack-Jack cackles at his father's amusing appearance.

"Adorable" is usually a pretty weird way to describe a trailer, but for anyone who has seen the new Incredibles 2 teaser, it is just about the flawless way to describe it. The short teaser focuses on infant Jack-Jack, who is unable to control his super-powers.

The sequel is thought to be set shortly after the end of the first film, with Mr. Incredible takes care of their baby son Jack-Jack. Baby Jack-Jack had accidentally blown up their old house with his new-found powers.

Fans of the original have been patiently anticipating Incredibles 2, and it seems to be worth the wait. Incredible sits at home and looks after the family's youngest child; featured in the teaser above.

I could probably go on at length about the virtual perfection of the superhero genre that is Brad Bird's original Incredibles film, but I'll spare you all. The Tracking Board is reporting that Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old-Virgin) have joined the cast of the film. Brad Bird is returning to direct.

"Incredibles 2" will be in theaters June 15, 2018.
