This PSVR bundle allows fans and newcomers alike to take a journey through the expansive world of the popular RPG in a whole new way: in virtual reality!

Over on the PlayStation blog they revealed that you can get the PlayStation VR headset, the PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, a PlayStation VR demo disc with 13 VR titles on them, and a copy of Bethesda's Skyrim VR all for $449.99.

"Skyrim" is set approximately 200 years after the events of "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion", but it's not a sequel to the game.

Until now, the majority of VR games have been rather short in terms of length but Skyrim VR is the full open-world Skyrim adventure you'll find on any other platform. This exciting aspect of the game will hopefully make traveling across Skyrim's enormous world far easier and smoother, alleviating some of the awkwardness of VR movement. As the Dragonborn, the prophesied hero born with the power of The Voice, you are the only one who can stand amongst them.

The Skyrim PSVR bundle launches in the United States and Canada on the same day as the game's launch, November 17th, for $449.99 USD/$579.99 CAD. And you will - all in a stunning virtual reality package.

We are also excited to launch a brand new TV spot that drops you into the frigid and relentless plains of Skyrim as you get ready for an all-new journey against rival factions, creatures, and Alduin - the worldeater.

While the Skyrim VR bundle may be a right proper deal for people with disposal income and $450 to blow just for the sake of it, I still think VR is a long ways away from being a worthwhile consumer endeavor. This updated PSVR system has enhancements done to its design, Processor, connection cable and more.
