Brazilian national football squad and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG; France) forward Neymar could not hold back his tears when his national team's manager, Tite, told the star player encouraging words during a press conference.

The Brazil global, who joined from Barcelona this summer in a world-record €222 million move, said he was targeting the Champions League trophy.

Further conspiracy theories have claimed the deal to take Neymar to Paris was only struck as a smokescreen to eventually bring the Brazilian to the Bernabeu, with Real Madrid keen to make him the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo's throne. I'm a player who wants to give everything on the pitch.

Several members of PSG's squad are said to have grown unhappy with the privileges afford to the Brazil global, however, and there is also ongoing speculation of a falling out with boss Unai Emery.

"He is a great player", Mbappe added. "We are very happy to have him with us". "Neymar has a big heart".

Edinson Cavani is one of the players reported to be unimpressed with Neymar's privileges at the club, with the pair involved in a rather public spat over who should take a penalty against Lyon in September.

"Mbappe said: "[Cavani is] superb.

"I think it is hard because of his past", he told El Larguero.

"He is now very close to breaking the club's record of goals".

The Spanish giants also have the financial power to pull off the transfer, and while it may not happen just yet, it's entirely possible Neymar could head to Madrid if he can't fulfil his ambitions at PSG. "He is one of the best attackers in the world".
