In the social media clip, Griezmann can be heard shouting "mon ami" ('my friend') before going in for a hug with Pogba, who watched France's victory from the stands as he is now recovering from a hamstring injury.

Paul Pogba has backed his Manchester United team-mate Anthony Martial to make it into France's World Cup squad next summer in Russian Federation calling him "one of the best players I have seen". Since then Jose Mourinho's side have lost to the likes of Huddersfield and Chelsea.

According to ESPN FC, Pogba is training with United reserves at Carrington.

It would be harsh to say Manchester United are a one-man team but there is no doubt Paul Pogba has been missed.
