After a competitive start at Anfield, Egypt forMohamed Salah continued his fine form with two goals as Liverpool eased past Southampton to secure three Premier League wins in a row for the first time in 2017.ward Salah curled high into the net from 18 yards, punishing Dusan Tadic for losing possession near his own area.

Liverpool sit in fifth spot in the Premier League standings following their win over Southampton, with Klopp's men now just a single point behind fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur.

"We know that we are in a hard moment in terms of results", Pellegrino told the club's official website.

Salah has scored 15 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions following a £34million move from Roma in the summer, including eight in his last six games.

"In these moments though you learn where you are at and we need to express our character".

But Southampton boss Pellegrino said: "Liverpool and Southampton are similar in the way they play and are teams that are comfortable with the ball".

'We have to build on our experiences that we made so far in the season. The rest we could have won, we have to score at the right times and of course not concede. We have much better protection, I hope we can keep that, that's a big part of not getting nervous in a game'. The first goal, I had nothing to do with, and the second - a fantastic pass. We know that we are in a hard moment and now we have to react because in the Premier League every single team is really hard'.

"This was an all-round good performance", smiled a suitably restored Klopp.
