Unfortunately, there is no indication on if the iPhone SE will receive a refreshed or all-new exterior design to go along with its upgraded internals.

According to a recent report from China's Economic Daily News (via MacRumors), Apple will have a launch event in the first half of 2018 to launch its much rumored iPhone SE 2. After cutting its teeth on the production of the Apple iPhone 5c, Wriston's Indian facilities not only churned out the iPhone SE earlier this year, but produced some Apple iPhone 8 models as well; Apple is looking to expand the distribution of Wriston's output to more locations around the world.

Apple declined to comment on the margin cuts and supply issues in India.

"Apple gives the least margins..."

Though there are no proper details on the Oppo and Vivo brands, these two smartphone makers are expected to offer greater than 20 percent of the profit margin, to capture the margin. The chief executive of another top retail chain in India said that they had done this across 300 stores due to the cut in margins. "India should rank very high on Apple's priority index.it is yet to have a single owned and operated retail store in India", said Manjunath Bhat, research director at Gartner. In fact, India was among the initial 55 countries that saw the launch of the iPhone X on November 3. It starts at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB model going up to Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant.

iPhone SE is a 4-inch smartphone Apple designed for a lower-end of the market than its larger devices. The latest report will no doubt see a further fall in iPhone X units in retail stores as owners refuse to take orders to protest against Apple's decision.
