The iOS 11.1.1 update is now available for your iPhone and iPad with hundreds of new features for the iPhone and iPad.

The fix for the bug was seen in the recently-released iOS 11.2 beta, according to MacRumors.

Apple just released the iOS 11.1.1 update with a a very important fix for the iPhone not being able to type the letter "I" and for a Hey Siri problem.

Interestingly, AppleInsider reports that following installation, the update replaces all previous instances of the flaw with the correct character.

iPhone users had been experiencing a bug that changed the letter "i" to a series of unreadable symbols, including a box with a question mark in it. The latest beta update includes the usual fixes to the issues caused by the preceding iOS version. Were you affected by the issue?

iOS 11 was released to the general public in September that brought quite a handful of forward-facing additions to the table. The user must also select whether they'd like to "Request" or "Pay" that amount.

Apple Pay Cash can also be used on the Apple Watch. Recipients will need to be signed up to Apple Pay Cash to receive money.

The Apple Pay features on iOS 11.2 and watchOS 4.2 means Apple device owners won't have to download other apps like Venmo for person-to-person transactions.
