Data tariff war among major telecom operators in India continues even after Reliance Jio scaled down its free unlimited data offer introduced in October a year ago and a few more attractive plans.

Under this 179 plan, Idea prepaid customers are offered unlimited local and STD calls along with 1 GB data for 28 days.

Bharti Airtel has announced a new plan for its prepaid users. Check more details of Airtel Rs 448 offer from here below. The plan is valid for 70 days. However, unlike Jio's plans, the voice calls on Airtel's new plan are limited to 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes per week.

Idea Cellular rolled out unlimited calling for a recharge value of Rs 179 which also gives subscribers data worth 1GB. Under the Rs 399 plan - accessible just for the prepaid clients - Jio offers 70GB of data for 70 days along with unlimited voice calling and SMSes. Customers can also avail 50 percent discount on the data plan by paying via Airtel Payments Bank. But, there is a limit for Airtel local and STD voice calls. Idea's latest Rs 357 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls, SMSes, and 1GB data per day.

Vodafone recently introduced a new plan, offering unlimited data for 84 days with a cap of 1GB per day and unlimited free voice calls (local, STD and roaming) across all networks for recharge of Rs 496. Once the quota is exceeded, the speed of data is likely to reduce to 64kbps.

Furthermore, to sweeten the deal, Idea Cellular stated that customers whoever recharges with the Rs. 179 plan on the www.ideacellular.com or using the MyIdea application will get additional 1GB data, making it 2GB data for 28 days. For the same plan subscribers might have to pay Rs 357 or Rs 347 in some cases, a report by TelecomTalk said on Monday. Once the limit is exhausted, then users will be charged 30 paise per minute.
