HMD Global has managed to successfully revitalize the Nokia brand with reliable, secure phones with an impressive price-performance ratio, and as far as the current range goes, they don't come much more pocket-friendly than the Nokia 2. As expected, the phone will be getting a nationwide launch and will be available online as well as in all brick-and-mortar stores across India.

As for the battery, HMD offers a large 4,100 mah unit which considering the 212 SoC and 720 display will last really long, or at least it appears so on paper. The smartphone will be available in three different colors.

Nokia 2 comes in Copper Black, Grey Black and White colour options.

As for the launch offers with Nokia 2, the Jio customers will get up to 45GB 4G additional data, i.e. 5 GB additional 4G data on every recharge of Rs 309 or above, limited to 9 recharges till August 31, 2018.

The company is also offering a 12-month damage protection plan via Servify if the user opens a Kotak 811 savings account with an initial deposit of ₹1,000 rupees in the introductory offer. Although the phone runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, it's guaranteed to receive the Android Oreo upgrade in the near future.

Nokia 2 comes with a 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash.

The smartphone comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. So, are you planning to buy the cheapest Android-powered smartphone from Nokia? Nokia 2 is built out of a single block of 6000 series aluminium, giving it a premium look. There were rumours of a variant of Nokia 2 with 2GB of RAM, but the company is yet to officially say anything about it.
