"No one can stop us from making PoK a part of India and we will make efforts in this direction", the minister said at a function here.

The minister also said that it is due to the mistakes made by the previous governments that today PoK is a part of Pakistan.

"Let down by politicians like Farooq and other members of his bandwagon, they are gravitating towards radicalisation. If the Indian government wants peace it will have to talk to Pakistan and conclude that an autonomy be given to us as well as them", the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister had said. "This won't change", he had said.

A Bihar court has also ordered filing of FIR against Farooq Abdullah on charges of treason over his remarks on PoK. "A case has been filed against me". They (Pakistan) drop a bomb, common people and soldiers die here (in Kashmir) and when a bomb is dropped from here, our people and soldiers also die there (AJK). "Till when will the blood of innocents continue to flow", he told his party workers.

"A day will come when you will cross the Line of Control (LoC) in such a manner as if going from one house to another".

Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the Kashmiris were laying down their lives for Pakistan but the rulers had not framed a state policy on Kashmir so far.

Reacting to Ahir's comments, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and NC leader Omar Abdullah asked what was stopping the government from taking back PoK.

Similarly criticising the senior Kashmir leader, BJP leader S Prakash said, "Earlier, he (Farooq Abdullah) enjoyed power in the Centre and the state".
